　A stormy night, the truth revealed…
　Have you ever heard of Kosakai Fuboku? He was a medical doctor from Kanie who was also a pioneer in the field of Japanese mystery writing during the 1920s.
　To celebrate his accomplishments, Kanie Town has produced two short films based on his novels. Kosakai’s classic Japanese thriller, Corpse Candle, will premier internationally at 2021 New York Japan Cinefest online from November 17th-November 21st.
　14 indie short films, including Kanie’s Corpse Candle, will be available for U.S. residents for streaming on demand. Program information and registration for NYJCF can be found at the following links:
